In January, we welcomed two experienced professionals to our executive team. We would like to introduce you to Bob Bouhuijs and Femke de Vries who have taken up the positions of CEO and CFO respectively.
Bob Bouhuijs brings a wealth of experience, notably as one of thefounders of Heliox Energy. With a track record spanning from the start-up phasein 2013 to steering the company into an international market leader infast-charging systems for electric buses, trucks, and port equipment, Bouhuijs is a valuable addition. His role as VP Smart Grid & Virtual Power Plants has provided him with industrial insights into optimising energy systems. Expressing his enthusiasm, Bob Bouhuijs states “The S4 Energy team has unique knowledge, and with the recent participation of CCI, there is significant cloutto accelerate the large-scale integration of energy storage systems into the electricity grid."
Femke de Vries, equipped with a background in Econometrics from the University of Amsterdam, brings a diverse international perspective gained from roles at HAL Investments and GrandVision. There, she held various operational roles, including Business Development Manager in São Paolo, Brazil. Back in the Netherlands, she became CFO at Broadview Energy Solutions, an investment portfolio focused on small-scale technology and distribution of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and liquefied biogas (LBG) solutions. Femke expresses her honour in joining S4 Energy “I feel honoured to be part of an enterprising and growing team and look forward to making a financial professionalisation."
Together with Dominique Becker Hoff, CCO, they form the complete management team at S4 Energy, ready to expand the installed energy storage capacity; crucial for the stabilisation of the electricity grid in the contextof the energy transition.
Dominique Becker Hoff emphasises the importance of the new additions to the management team, “With the arrival of these colleagues, S4 Energy is much better able to take steps towards our common goal in all important areas.
